TASTY Food

The festival promises a fantastic selection of local and national beers, ciders, and perry, along with fruit and grape wines and prosecco, food vendors, and live music performances in our marquee. There will be plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

The festival is organised and run by volunteers from the Campaign for Real Ale – CAMRA. Join others who are passionate about real ale and pubs. Members support the preservation of traditional pubs and breweries, enjoy exclusive discounts, and gain access to award-winning publications and learning materials. That includes discounted or free entry to CAMRA beer festivals, like this one. Sign up online or at the festival – visit the membership stand at the grandstand entrance.

Check out our sponsor Fownd, a brewer from Kidderminster. You’ll find their beers at the festival, and in Weavers of Worcester. Malvern, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.

CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival is in Birmingham this year. It’s running 5th to 9th August in the NEC, so a great opportunity to warm up before visiting us in Worcester. The winners of the Champion Beer of Britain 2025 will be announced there, but judging for next year’s champion starts at the festival in Worcester. A panel of experts will be tasting the beers to decide which go forward into the next round for the 2026 competition. You could join that panel, as we’re running a competition for five places on the judging panel. The winners will sit alongside our experts on Thursday and then get free entry to the festival.

Volunteering

Our volunteers stand out in their yellow t-shirts, so you know who to ask for expert advice on the beer and cider. This year they will be sporting the logo of Brew61, the brewery on a farm near Bromsgove. Try the beer at the festival, and in local pubs.

Our festival is entirely run by volunteers, and it takes a lot of effort to bring it to life. From setting up and tearing down the site to working the bars while we’re open, there are all sorts of jobs that need doing. If you’re able to spare some time, please consider volunteering to help out. It’s a fantastic way to be a part of the Worcester Beer, Cider, and Perry Festival 2025 behind the scenes.

Behind every perfectly poured pint at our festival is a passionate volunteer. We’re not paid for this, so why do we pour our hearts into it? It’s simple: we love the event, the incredible camaraderie, being part of a fantastic team, and the lasting friendships we build. And, of course, the fantastic beer, cider, and perry might play a tiny part too! Come feel the volunteer spirit and enjoy the fruits of our labour at this year’s festival.
