Charities

We are welcoming some important charities to raise funds during the festival. Please support them as best you can.

Royal National Lifeboat Institution

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the RNLI is ready to save lives. Powered by courage, determination, and the support of generous people like you.

They’re more than just a rescue service – they influence, supervise and educate people too. Their Community Safety teams explain the risks and share safety knowledge with anyone going out to sea or to the coast. And their international teams work with like-minded organisations to help tackle drowning in communities at risk all around the world.

Their volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland and their seasonal lifeguards patrol busy beaches. RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 144,000 lives since 1824.

Worcester Foodbank

The foodbank does’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. The Worcester foodbank is run by local people for local people – they rely on the community’s support to ensure they can continue to stop people going hungry. Can you invest in the future of their project and help them provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community?

Worcestershire NHS Charity Trust

The Hospitals Charity supports patients, staff and services in Worcestershire’s acute hospitals. They do this through fundraising campaigns and the effective use of donations, to provide enhancements, additions and added extras which link closely with the strategic aims of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

Their projects support the following three key areas:

  •  Improving facilities for patients, staff and visitors
  • Supporting ongoing staff development and welfare
  • Funding additional medical equipment
